This session was a long time coming. I was originally supposed to take pictures of the T Family in December, but for various reasons the session was postponed several times. The reschedules must have been meant to be because when my friend contacted me to schedule, she asked if in addition to family pictures we could also do a pregnancy announcement (!!) of course I said yes. I was so excited! I love being a part of special announcements. It's honestly one of the best parts of being a photographer. I get to capture once-in-a-lifetime events - how awesome is that?
I've known the T family for years - Mom was a close friend from high school, and getting to capture friends makes taking family photos all the more special. The session took place at Succop Nature Park in Butler, PA. I've done several sessions here, and it's one of my favorite spots. There's a beautiful house, greenery, water... It has everything.
They have a three year old daughter, and family photography sessions with a three year old are always fun - you honestly never know what you're getting yourself into when a toddler is involved in the session, but that's what makes each session special and unique. Three year olds are so full of life (some may say crazy).... it makes for great pictures. REAL smiles. And an exciting family photography session. There's always lots of running around and playing - not much standing around. Just keeping a true-to-life... right?? I've mentioned this multiple times, but this is why I love lifestyle family photography sessions. I'm capturing real family connection, not forced smiles.
